We used our Ezpz mini mat 
a ton when my son was 6months-2years. He had a very long "throw all plates on the floor" stage and the mini mat was a diaper bag essential for restaurant trips. It stays stuck to the table, has sections for the different foods and it comes in beautiful colors! Now that my son doesn't use it as often, we use it for arts & crafts and bead sorting!
