The Dinosaur Place

We visited on Earth Day, Friday, April 22nd. It was myself, my mother, my 6-year-old daughter, and my 1-year-old son. This is an awesome place! There are over 1.5miles of walking trails with 40 dinosaurs on the trails as well as some “What Am I” boxes. They trails are not stroller friendly at all, so I highly recommend wearing your baby on this trip! They also have an amazing splash pad(it wasn’t open during our visit though) a life-size maze(also not stroller friendly…. We had lots of problems pushing the stroller through) and an awesome playground. My daughter loved the maze & the playground since she’s older. My son loved watching the volcano, which goes off every few hours. The location has multiple public bathrooms, one near the splash pad & playground where in the summer they also have a café. The second set of bathrooms is near the entrance where there is also a small gift shop and they sell ice cream & beverages. Next door you will find the Nature Arts Village where there is another option for food, a much larger gift shop, and other attractions. Overall I give this location a glowing review for families, however, it is definitely a location to favor baby wearing over strollers!
